Types of Floral Bouquets

June 15, 2018

Floral arrangements are a huge part of any wedding. If you are looking for a unique way to present your bouquet, this piece is just for you!

Classic Bouquet

Classic Bouquet look is what we all know and love. It is where the stems are bunched together and tied together with ribbon or floral tape. They are comfortable to hold and versatile. Classic bouquets are natural DIY bouquets to do as well. My sister’s bridesmaids helped create her bouquet look when she walked down the aisle.

Waterfall Bouquet

This bouquet is those flowers that are cascading down. They have a dramatic appearance that definitely standouts. If you love orchids or a rustic look with greenery, this is the perfect bouquet for you.

The Wrap Around the Stems

As I mentioned above, your classic bouquet can have a little extra flair. If you want to add a shiny brocade, ribbon, or wrap the stems with cloth, these are all fair game to create a unique look.

Dome Shaped Bouquet

If you want an elegant looking bouquet without the greenery, you can create a bouquet with a dome-shaped appearance. It is a beautiful and unique twist to the bouquet. The only thing is only one type of flower should be used, and the petals need to be easily manipulated to have round appearance.

Not Really A Bouquet

If you don’t want to deal with making a bouquet, you can also have the simple look of holding one flower (i.e., a single rose.) You can also have your bridesmaids carry lotus flowers that sit in their hands as they walk down an aisle.
